Who is Joanna Piercy?

Detective Inspector Joanna Piercy is a psychology graduate, and the heroine of eight books - so far. I am currently working on the eighth Joanna Piercy case.

Ably supported by Detective Sergeant Mike Korpanski, her Polish body-building colleague and her pathologist partner, Doctor Matthew Levin she rids the small town of Leek, isolated within the Staffordshire moorlands, of its increasingly resourceful killers using Korpanski's brawn, Matthew's skills as a forensic pathologist and her own talents both as a psychologist and a police inspector.
